After glazing, I double-fired the piece to give it strength, stability, and a smooth finish that feels comforting in your hands.

The spoon rest was a really lovely design. Unfortunately the delivery was delayed by about 2 months from the original delivery forecast and the communication was not very good during this time. When it did arrive it was poorly packaged and one of the bears legs had broken off. Again we didn't get any response from the seller. Etsy issued a refund. I have no doubt there is huge talent here and lovely designs but customer service and comms left us a bit disappointed.
