Zanurz się w nostalgii z tym ręcznie robionym ceramicznym talerzem w stylu retro z pływakiem, pieczołowicie wykonanym dziełem, które łączy w sobie urok wzornictwa z połowy XX wieku z ciepłem rzemieślniczej kamionki. Pracując, wyobrażałem sobie delikatny nurt wody, cichą siłę płynącego pływaka, kunsztowną prostotę plakatu retro ożywionego gliną. Każdy zakręt i detal został ręcznie namalowany, a następnie wypalony dwukrotnie dla uzyskania wytrzymałości i gładkiego, wodoodpornego wykończenia.

The quality of the ceramic swimmer is amazing, she’s absolutely gorgeous! We will be ordering the matching man swimmer. This was originally a Christmas gift and I asked the seller multiple times if she thought it would be delivered for Christmas, she said yes. I ordered end of October and it wasn’t here until after Christmas. I had to follow up with the order multiple times, always getting a different answer about the stage of the project if it was made, being fired, being shipped, etc. Just beware of these items will take longer than expected, if you have time to wait it’s worth it. Now the holidays are over we have time so will order the other swimmer :).

I ordered the swimmer plate as a birthday gift to my friend. I wrote to the seller to check if she will be able to ship the item in time- she confirmed and all was agreed. Unfortunately the seller failed to deliver and for extended period did not respond to my emails. When I finally got the response the communication was sparse. I had to apologise to my friend for the delay. Sadly I was underwhelmed on the receipt of the order… the plate quality was not as good as presented on Etsy store photos. The item looked as it was made without care: had unpainted rough edges (unlike what’s shown on Etsy store), crudely covered up chip / mark on the swimmers head, large dust pieces stuck to the surface etc. Such a shame…
